A World from a Dream

For what it is worth, my ideas may be ludicrous to some, but to me, they are gold. My idea is bringing together people of very different backgrounds together, connected through one thing in common. It is inspired by a dream I once had. It is very different from what I have ever experienced in real life, but yet at the same time, their were experiences that were separate. A young adult in his early twenties trying to become a world known sushi chef, another is the sensei, a female Japanese chef that disciplines him. Other people he encounters along the way are very diverse. One is a high school student, who is trying to fit in a gang and is having trouble being loyal to his gang and knowing right and wrong. He has a conflict and befriends the chef-in-training, who in turn helps him along the way. Another is a shy middle school girl who is always bullied by her role models and people who abuse her trust. She is misunderstood by people and only wants a friend to save her from insanity. These people befriend her and give her moral support. This would be a group of friends of diversity who would help each other out and give support for each of their own obstacles and strive for what they wish to achieve. All these characters are inspiration from people I know, and for some reason formed this dream I had. I want to expand on this and even try different approaches, even in animation and perhaps, short comics.

Another idea I had known about since it was released would be like a digital comic with some movement to it, much like this series of comics on "The Silent Hill Experience" on the Sony PSP:

This art style is very appealing, but has a "Tim Burton" feel to it:

For now...

For ideas, I was thinking of creating a post card design for this school. I would like to use artwork I have created myself and other peoples' artwork (with their permission of course) so I can explore outside of my box. For future ideas, I was thinking of helping out creating designs for my sister's company in crafts and jewelry.
